Grand Challenges: India's research solutions to real-world problems

Some of the most pressing challenges raised by India’s large population are in the public healthcare, energy and sanitation sectors. Health concerns such as tuberculosis, maternal and infant mortality, vector- and water borne-diseases, malnutrition, hygiene and sanitation remain major problems.
