We read with interest the article by Millman et al. [1] dedicated to AMAB (Assigned Male At Birth) individuals underwent genital gender affirming surgery (GGAS) whose informational needs were investigated through an anonymous survey.

The demand for GGAS has steadily increased throughout the years worldwide [2]. On these regards, authors reported a threefold increase in gender-affirming vaginoplasty requests in the last ten years. Therefore, as professionals dedicated to transgender health, we are expecting a dramatic increase to request for GGAS in the next future and it is our responsibility to be ready to manage it with high standards of care.
