In the version of the article initially published, in Fig. 4d, the column now labelled “PC3” originally read “PC12”. Fig. 8g was originally mislabelled as 8c and one of the images used (Aged, PCC1) was incorrect and has been replaced. In Extended Data Fig. 1b, all the images for the SA-β-Gal group were from a different project. The original files have been located, and a revised version of the figure is now provided. The original and revised figures can be found in the Supplementary Information accompanying this amendment. These corrections have been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
