Aims & Scope

npj Spintronics considers all aspects of research that advances the understanding and application of spin electronics or spintronics.

The journal covers a broad range of topics including but not limited to:

  • Spintronic materials and devices
  • Spin transport and spin dynamics
  • Spin injection and spin manipulation
  • Spin-based logic and memory devices
  • Spin-wave devices and magnonics
  • Spintronics in spin logic and neuromorphic computing
  • Spintronics for communication and networking

The journal offers more choice to Nature Portfolio authors who are seeking a fully open-access and more inclusive platform for publishing their work. The journal is led by spintronics experts who collaborate to cultivate high-quality research. As part of the npj Series, this journal focuses on fostering global partnerships with the research community and other Springer Nature journals.
